Semente Vintage Shortboard (Custom Order)

The basis for this design comes from a little afternoon session at Shaping Bay with Nic Von Rupp. Nic has been chasing the Semente Shapers for a while to deviate from the norm and create a fun little board with a mix of old and new ideas. They sat down and designed a small 5'6" with a fairly wide old school outline that's narrowed in width with the help of a flank wing at the tail. The board carries plenty of lift and width up front, making it a paddling dream and gives it incredible speed.The rocker is fairly flat down the centerline but curves quite a bit on the rail line due to a deep concave and a vee release tail (New School).When the basic shape was complete, they carved 4 channels into the tail and called it a day.On a recent Indo trip Nic tossed the board in his board bag and raved about the results, and has since claimed it's one of the coolest boards he's surfed in years.This board is Available with or without channels and can be surfed as a quad or thruster We use one of our vintage decal designs as the logo Amazing creations come from afternoons with the gifted n surfers like Nic Von Rupp.
