Surfari Surfshop - who we are!
There are people behind the Surfari surf shop, and surfers. We are a small team that uses our expertise and years of experience to do our best to make your surfing or beach holiday an unforgettable experience. In a positive sense, of course. We are not a mail order company or a large chain store, but we are athletes and run a specialist shop. Down to earth and fundamentally honest, because we know what we are doing... Even if we don't have a sea in Switzerland (yet).
Roman Hartmann
Managing Director, COO, CFO, CMO, CIO and contact point for complaints of all kinds
Roman is the founder and padre of Surfari. He is a brainbug and mastermind, can work until the early hours or party and still be the first to get back on the mat. There is hardly a subject area in which he cannot have a say and when he says something, you can believe him.
Motto: Sit low, walk steep. From now on, just Tadaa! instead of Todo.
Milan ('Muli') Brunner
Brand Manager Poscastifte, Chief Repairs Officer (CRO), Senior Director Drink Supply
Muli is a father of two, a solid employee and almost part of the inventory. He moved from the fashion store to the surf shop and, in addition to ocean surfing, he also knows his way around river and pool surfing. There is hardly a river wave that he doesn't know and from time to time He also makes it onto the podium at contests.
Motto: 'Too old to die young' and 'I'd rather slit my brains than sit in an office'
Pamela Wengi
If you could put good humor on a surfboard, Pam would be the result.
She has been part of the Surfari team for years. Sometimes in the Mall of Switzerland, sometimes in the fashion store and now permanently in the surf shop on Stauffacher. Travel-savvy, experienced surfer and highly motivated, she takes care of all sorts of things in the surf shop.
Fabian Kubli
“Kublinator” – that’s what we affectionately call him – has been our witty, somewhat sarcastic employee for a year. He always has a cheeky saying ready and knows pretty much every surfboard brand that nobody else knows. Confident, composed, adept at traveling and with an almost confusing amount of life experience, he is a real asset to the surf shop.

Alex Mitev Life
Our in-house designer - since Alex is an artist by profession, he only works in the shop two days a week, but he constantly brings cool designs and new ideas to our shop (his latest creation: https://surfari.ch/collections/herren-shirt/products/surfari-herren-t-shirt-gozilla-navy). With his Slovenian accent and skate know-how, he wraps everyone around his finger!

Celestine ('Celi') Vogt 
Since Celi started working for us, we suddenly have a confident presence on social media again and the shop is tidier than ever (many thanks haha). Celi occasionally runs a half marathon before work and then delights everyone with her hearty laugh! No wonder she can eat so much chocolate - there is no other person who can eat anywhere near as many sweets in a day without bursting ;).
