The O'Neill Basic Skin Sun Shirts feature world-renowned O'Neill quality. The Lycra with 50+ UV protection is water-repellent and made from very light fabric. UV protection is an important issue, especially in summer, but UV radiation on the water should not be underestimated at other times of the year either. Frequent sun exposure is the cause of various forms of skin damage, including premature skin aging and even skin cancer. O'Neill UV shirts absorb and block most of the sun's radiation. O'Neill UV products are equipped with elastic threads that are flexible enough to pull fibers together extremely tightly, effectively minimizing harmful sun radiation.
