One of our initiatives is the use of materials made from recycled waste in a selection of our products, including our market-leading vehicle seat covers. The polyester fabric in this product is made from 100% consumer PET plastic bottles.
Northcore has been recycling and carbon offsetting since our inception. However, the pressing issue of plastics wreaking havoc on our oceans has prompted us to take a much closer look at all of our activities. So we looked at where we could make improvements and set targets to further reduce our footprint.
The polyester fabric in this product is made from 100% consumer PET plastic bottles. Approximately 30 one-liter plastic bottles are needed for our robust, waterproof, environmentally friendly seat cover. Our eco products can be recognized by the green label sewn into each product. Our van and car seat covers are designed for board riders and outdoor enthusiasts.
