Is it possible to make a perennial favorite even better? That is the question...and the challenge. The Puddle Jumper revolutionized the genre and was one of the most popular small wave hybrids of all time. With a plethora of replicas and our own growing line of offshoots, its evolution and popularity continues. After more than a decade, we still receive special orders for original Puddle Jumpers almost daily.

The PUDDLE JUMPER-STING was inspired by our long-standing Puddle Jumper collaboration with LIB-Tech, which includes a winged squash-tail version of the original Puddle Jumper. We wanted to build on that design and take it a step further by incorporating the iconic STING design element. The STING's incorporation was natural and easy. It looks like it was always meant to be there. One of our widest and most stable/playful floorplans has now been radicalized with the STING. Placed at 18" (about 1/4 from the tail), it immediately looked like a perfect fit. It allows for a sharper, tighter and more intense pivot point in this easy-to-ride, playful fun machine. One of the limitations of ultra-wide hybrids has always been that they are easy to enjoy, but difficult to ride truly radically.

The same problem-solving that made the STING famous nearly 50 years ago is applied here to the OG Puddle Jumper - with amazing results. Bertlemann will love it and Buttons would be delighted!
