THE DRYSUIT

Rinse with fresh water after every use, do not wash in a washing machine, and do not use detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners. Let the drysuit dry first from the inside, then from the outside.

THE CUFFS

The cuffs of every Dry Fashion suit are made from the highest quality natural rubber (latex) or neoprene to ensure maximum freedom of movement and comfort. However, natural rubber is sensitive. Any kind of solvents and oils, especially suntan oil, will attack the material. Therefore, ensure that the cuffs do not come into contact with these substances. Heat, cold, and UV rays can also degrade the material. Furthermore, pressing, folding, or crumpling can lead to cracks in the material.

Important: When putting on the suit, it is essential to ensure that no sharp objects (rings, watches, bracelets) come into contact with the cuffs. Also, when pulling on the cuffs, make sure to spread the cuff opening with both hands to avoid uneven strain. After each use, the cuffs should be cleaned with fresh water and frequently treated with Dry Fashion care spray. For storage, keep the suit wrinkle-free, ideally hanging, in a place between 10°C and 25°C. For long-term storage, tuck the cuffs into the arm and leg openings.

The arm and leg cuffs have a large contact surface to achieve maximum water tightness. Therefore, the arm and leg cuffs should not be cut. Cuffs must fit tightly and therefore take some getting used to. Only the latex neck cuff, which has a conical shape, can be widened by cutting along the marked rings; it is best to use a sharp utility knife for this.

THE ZIPPER

If possible, apply the included lubricant to the top end of the zipper (the dock where the zipper closes) right before use and open and close the fastener several times. Never force the zipper open or closed. In case of malfunctions, open the zipper again and check between the chain links for dirt (small hairs, fibers, etc.) and remove them. Only pull the zipper open and closed in the direction of the zipper chain, as lateral stress could cause the chain links to bend and/or the zipper slider to jump out. The zipper should be cleaned frequently. Use a soft brush and clear tap water for cleaning. Do not use solvents. Avoid scratching or scraping with pointed or sharp objects at all costs. Keep the zipper closed after use. Crumpling the suit can lead to damage to the zipper. Therefore, always ensure that the zipper is closed and lies flat without kinks, and is not burdened by objects placed on top of it.
