Over the past three years, I have built various versions of the “Score Lord” for myself, my friends, and my team riders, attempting to add more volume to the boards without losing sensitivity or performance. I watched them ride countless waves and used their feedback to refine the design. After people kept paddling up to me asking what I was surfing, we finally decided it was time to share this board with everyone.
The Score Lord is intended for all types of waves, from 2 to 10 feet (yes, it is THAT versatile!), and is designed for maximum paddle power, stability, and glide – allowing you to fully reach your potential or progress quickly!
The outline is clean, with the wide point pushed well forward (+2”), and a full nose that is only slightly wider than the tail. The back half is sleek, but not overly narrow, ending in a very round pin tail that ensures a smooth and loose feel. The thickness is carried forward to keep plenty of foam (volume) under the chest area, leaving the sleek, pointy nose refined for fast paddling and easy wave catching, while the rails and tail area are thinned out to keep the board responsive and quick.
The sizing selection for the “Score Lord” is quite diverse and depends entirely on your surfing and fitness level: Better surfers can choose a smaller board, around their own height, or opt for a slightly longer version for fun. Intermediate surfers should choose it slightly longer than their height or even add 6 inches or more to maximize their paddle power, stability, and glide. If your paddle fitness still leaves something to be desired, the “Score Lord” offers every possible advantage while still allowing for faster progress and fun sessions!
It comes standard with 5 fin boxes, allowing you to choose the fin configuration that best suits your needs. The Score Lord is all about more waves, more flow, and a perfectly tuned mix of paddle power and performance that will have you scoring session after session.
